From the temple we make our way to Kasargod town, where we shall visit the famous Malid Dinar Masjid. Built in the typical Kerala style, the historic Malik Ibn Deenar Masjid is believed to have been founded by Persian scholar and traveller Malik Ibin Deenar. It is one among the very first Masjids in the country only after the Cheraman Perumal Masjid, which is also established by Malid Dinar, in Kodungallur in central Kerala region. The mosque is also the mausoleum of the Scholar. A visit inside this mosque will present you with the marvelous ancient architectural style and the ornamental decorations from the era. After that we shall head further south to visit the famous, Bekal Fort, where this massive structure of a fort extends out to the beautiful Arabian sea, giving stunning views of the ocean around. The fort is fairly well kept and makes it worthy of a short peek into its history of it especially for the views of Arabian sea from it. After visiting the fort we shall The Fort has been featured in the Tamil movie 'Bombay', and it's where the famous song 'Uyare' has been shot. After Bekal we shall take the beach road and head south towards Nileshwar where we shall check into a beautiful Beachfront resort, for you to relax and enjoy the crisp Arabian sea at close and for the whole of the afternoon.
