On Day 1 after picking you up from the airport we shall check you into your hotel in Vijayawada city. After lunch, we shall go on a drive to Amaravathy the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, where there are currently a lot of developmental activities are underway to make it the truly first planned capital city of India. The drive is quite interesting and to see in Amaravathy we can visit The Dhyana Buddha, a giant Buddha statue that stands tall at a height of 38 meters. Towards the latter half of the day, we shall drive back to Vijaywada, where we shall be visiting the Undavalli cave, a multi-storied cave that was carved out of solid sandstone on a hillside in the 4th to 5th centuries CE. There are several caves and the best known largest one has four stories with a huge recreated statue of Vishnu in a reclining posture, sculpted from a single block of granite inside the second floor. After that, we shall visit the famous Prakasam Barrage, a Barrage and a road bridge that stretches across Krishna River at a length of 1.25 km. Towards the evening we shall visit the Bhavani island park where you can do boating in the lake. Bhavani Island is situated in the midst of the Krishna River, at Vijayawada. It is located upstream of Prakasam Barrage and is considered one of the largest river islands in India, with an area of 133 acres. After that, we can return to your hotel to spend the first night of your trip.

Day : 2 - Guntur city and Chirala beach

On Day 2 we shall head towards Guntur city from Vijayawada on the way stopping in Mangalagiri hills to visit the famous temple Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, a Vaishnavite temple and one of the eight sacred places of Lord Vishnu in India. After visiting the temple we can enjoy a traditional Andhra-style meal from the famous Murugan Hotel. After that, we shall drive through Guntur city and reach the beautiful Kondaveedu Fort close to Guntur. The drive to the fort is amazing with the roads zig-zagging along the hillsides to reach the fort. The fortresses were once the capital of the Kondavidu Reddi Kingdom that was delimited between the south of the Krishna River and the Gundlakamma River and located 13 km to the west of Guntur city. They were erected on a high ridge of a small range of hills with an average elevation of 1,500 feet, the highest point on the ridge is 1,700 feet . There are two hills, one is to the north, which provides very steep but short access to the forts. Kondaveedu and the surrounding forest areas have a large number of Custard apple trees. After visiting the fort we shall head towards Chirala and Vodarevu beach, where we shall check into a Beach side resort for you to enjoy the beautiful sunset and beach views and a relaxing stay.

Day : 3 - Konaseema-Dindi-Godavari Basin

On Day 3 we set out early from Chirala beach to reach Konaseema region in the Godavari basin which is 200Kms and an approximately 6 hour drive away towards Dindi. The Godavari river basin is a very green stretch of land when compared to the rest of Andhra Pradesh and we have the accommodation for the day arranged in a very luxurious 5-star resort overlooking the serene Godavari river. Included among the activities in the resort is boating in the Godavari river. We should reach early enough in the resort for you to be able to enjoy a relaxing stay in the resort.

Day : 4 - Yanam - Coringa Wildlife sanctuary

On Day 4 we set out from our riverside resort in Dindi to pass through Yanam, an erstwhile French colonial territory now governed under Puducherry administration, a union territory. Yanam is an interesting little town to just drive through with its quaint colonial buildings and architecture. By afternoon we can reach Coringa wildlife sanctuary, the second largest stretch of mangrove forests in India after the Sunderbansm, with 24 mangrove tree species and more than 120 bird species. It is home to the critically endangered white-backed vulture and the long-billed vulture. The national park has slightly elevated walkways installed for nature walks through the mangrove forests. The sanctuary is also famous for its golden jackal, sea turtle and fishing cat, and a healthy breeding population of smooth-coated otters. The sanctuary has an 18-km long sandpit where olive ridley sea turtles nest from January to March every year. We also have a thrilling mangrove boating planned up as an activity in the Coringa wildlife sanctuary. After that, we shall move to the nearby city or Kakinada where we will have a short city tour and later on check into our hotel to spend the night there.

On Day 5 we set out from Kakinada on a 3 hour drive to the beautiful towards the hills to reach the beautiful Maredumilli forests. On the way, we shall stop at the Rampa waterfalls. The Maredumilli forest region is an emerald green route and the forest roads will be a delightful experience in the whole trip for you to cherish. On the way back we shall head to the Papikondalu region of East Godavari. The beautiful scenery of Papikondalu, and the peaceful atmosphere at this tribal area give a pleasant look and peace to visitors, making it a special attraction for tourists. The mighty Godavari river narrowing and passing with twists and turns along the Papi Hills is every visitor's delight. At Papikondalu we shall go on boating through the Godavari river as it winds its way through the green hills of Papikondalu. From Papikondallu we shall shall head to the city of Rajahmundry, where we shall have a small city tour and head towards our hotel for the night stay.

Day : 6 - The last day of the trip

On the last day of the trip after breakfast from the hotel we shall set out on a 3 hour drive from Rajahmundry, to reach Vijayawada International airport, from where you can catch your return flight home.
