Day : 1 - Drive to Coorg

On the first day of the trip we pick you up from The Bangalore International Airport and head to Madikeri, Coorg, popularily known as the Scotland of India. The drive is a pleasant one with largely good roads and it should take roughly 4-5 hours from Bangalore to reach Madikeri. Madikeri enjoys a pleasant climate through out the year since it is situated at an altitude of 1150 meters above the sealevel. In Madikeri we can explore a few points such as Rajas seat and Abbey falls. We shall check into a charming home stay, where you have the evening for yourselves. In the evening we shall also have a Barbeque by the resort to bring in the first night of this wonderful trip.

On day 2 we shall head to the beautiful but secluded beaches of North Kerala. The drive from Coorg to Kannur in North Kerala takes about 2 hours and is an extremely scenic one as we descend the hills towards the plantation belts of North Kerala and finally reaching the beautiful Kannur city by the coast. Kannur city is full of history and we can take in a slice of it by visiting the Angelo Fort, the cliffs by the beach and Payyambalam beach. Also we can not miss the wonderful Kerala Fish thali from the Odhens hotel in Kannur. In the afternoon we shall check into a beach side resort in Kannur, where you can spend a relaxing evening by the quite beach.

On day 3 we check out from our resort just before lunch time and head to the famous MRA bakery and restaurant to have a fabulous Malabar style Fish thali. MRA restaurant is famous for its Malabar style delicacies and its a food experience that can not be missed while in this city. After that we head to the drive in beach, which is Asias longest drive in beach stretching for about 4.5 kms. The drive through the beach is a delightful experience for sure. After the drive in beach we head to Mahe a part of Puducherry union territory passing through the famous historic town of Thalassery. From Mahe we head towards the Wayanad hills a drive experience that is unbeatable as we head from the Malabar coast to the mighty western ghats. The drive from Mahe to Wayanad is expected to take about 3 hours and we expect to reach by 5 PM in your resort a quite home stay in Meppadi, Wayanad.

On day 4 we stay back in Wayanad to explore this wonderful hill district of North Kerala. Wayanad has a lot of attractions for the travelers and we begin with a morning trek to Chembra peak the highest peak in Wayanad at a height of 2150 meters. The views from the trek is a rewarding experience and on the way we come across a naturally heart shaped lake in the midst of lush green meadows.. After we finish the trek we can head back to the resort to freshen up and relax and by afternoon we head on a short drive to Edakkal caves, where you can see the pre historic era cave drawings. After Edakkal caves we shall visit the Pookkot lake to enjoy boating in the beautiful lake. And in the evening we shall have another Barbeque in the resort.

Day : 5 - Ootty the queen of Hills

On day 5 from Wayanad, we head to Ootty the ever famous hill station of South India. The drive to Ootty from Wayanad should take approximately 3 hours and we shall be driving all the way through the western ghats presenting you beautiful views of the hills of both Kerala as well as Tamil Nadu states. Just before reaching Ootty we shall stop by at Pykara lake and waterfalls and at the famous popular movie shooting spot the Wenlock downs 9th mile. The evening is spend around a campfire and with a barbeque to take in the chill of the night. The temperatures remain in single digits through out the year in Ootty so it will be a good idea to carry some warm winter clothes that can come of use while you are in Ootty.

Day : 6 - Amidst forest and wildlife

On day 6 after lunch from Ootty we descend from the hills of Ootty to Masinagudi forests, which is hardly 26 kms drive and we should be able to do it in an hours time. In Masinagudi we shall check into a forest resort, where you can relax in the afternoon taking in the scenes of the forests around. By evening we shall go on an offroad jeep safari deep into the forest hoping to view some wild life of the region. The evening can be spent by a campfire in the resort.

On day 7 we leave from Masinagudi to Mysore city. The drive from Masinagudi to Mysore passes through one among the prettiest regions of Karnataka. Mysore is a majestic city with a lot of history, palaces and gardens. The city is worth exploring the whole of afternoon. In the afternoon we shall go around the city view the main attractions and the beautiful gardens of the city. Day : 9 - Last day of the Trip

The last day of the trip we can check out of the hotel just before the lunch time. We shall have the famous Andhra style Thalis from the Nagarjuna restaurant, which is a must try when it comes to food experiences of the city. We can do further sight seeing around Bangalore and make our way towards the Airport according to the timing of your return flight.
