Day : 1 - On the way to Corbett

On day 1 try to make an early arrival at Delhi airport so that we can save the maximum out of the day. After picking you up from the airport we shall head straight to Corbett national park. It takes us approximately 5 hours drive to reach Corbett national park. We hope to reach the National park early enough so that atleast by 3.30 PM we can enter the park and go for the jungle safari. The jungle safari is expected to get over by 5 PM post to which we can head to the resort and spend the evening there.

Day : 2 - An easy drive to Nainital

On day 2 we shall make an easy drive up to Nainital. Nainital enjoys cooler climate compared to Corbett especially so if it is winter period we suggest you to carry some warm clothing. In Nainital we shall check you into your resort where you will have your lake facing room reserved. After you have freshed up we shall set out for the must do boating in the Naini Lake. The boating in the lake is quite a pleasant experience. After the boating we can take a little tour of the mall road and return to the hotel just before sunset.

Day : 3 - Embracing Garhwal hills

On day 3 we brace ourselves to embrace the hilly regions of Garhwal. The drive is a long one taking atleast 6 hours to reach our next night stay point. As we head to the higher reaches of Garhwal and Uttaranchal the facilities and the accommodation facilities become very limited. But we have managed to identify a few home stays where you can rather explore the sights and activities around than just enjoying the luxuries of a hotel room. On day 3 we have our accommodation booked in a quite and basic but comfortable home stay, but set in a picturesque village. The room has beautiful Pinder river view and of the village around.

Day : 4 - Trek and taking it easy

On day 4 we shall relax and take it easy quite a bit as we are planning to stay on at the home stay for this day also. There are various things that you can do in this village, and a lot of interesting trekking routes is available in the region.. During the day we shall make a village walk to get an insight of the village life in Garhwal. After that we shall make small to medium treks according to your weariness levels.

Day : 5 - A long drive to Auli

On day 5 we take another long drive to Auli. The drive should take approximately 4 hours owing to the winding and dangerous roads. On reaching Joshimath we shall check into another home stay where you can relax and retire for the day.

Day : 6 - The Amazing Auli

On day 6 we head on to a packed day with a lot of snow activities at Auli, Indias premier skiing destination. Auli is situated at an elevation of 3000 meters and is surrounded by coniferous and oak forests. A long cable car links Auli to the town of Joshimath. So on this day we shall take a chair lift ride up to Auli from Joshimath as it will be a different experience for the travelers. The chair lift takes approximately 15 minutes to reach the top station in Auli. In Auli we can try your skills with Skiing. The operators will give you a small training before you can gradually set forth with the skiing exercise. After skiing we can take a small trek into the Gorson national park in Auli. The national park is a high altitude national park region and you can trek in the snow upto 4000 meters above the sea level. By late afternoon we shall head down from Auli back to Joshimath from where we shall have lunch and then set out towards the Tapovan hot springs. The hot springs in Tapovan is a not to be missed experience as you can take a theraputic bath in the hot water from the hot springs. After the relaxing hot springs we shall take the winding road back to Joshimath, where you can relax in your resort for the night.

Day : 7 - Drive to Chopta

On day 6 after breakfast we will drive to Chopta, which is otherwise called the Mini Switzerland of India. Chopta region is a valley that is famous for its green unending meadows and it has always been a popular location for movie shootings especially so when it has to picturise the Swiss valleys. So in Chopta we shall check into another home stay where you can relax for the afternoon and join a trek in the meadows if you are up for it.

Day : 8 - Devprayag and Rishikesh

On day 7 we head out on a long 6 hour drive from Chopta to Rishikesh. En route we shall be passing through Rudraprayag, famous for the man eater of Rudraprayag that was shot by Jim Corbett. And yea we pass through the famous Devprayag, where the rivers, Bhageerathi and Alagnanda meet to become the holiest river in the world The Ganga. We hope to reach Rishikesh by 5 PM and we shall check into the resort set by and your room overlooking a crystal clear and light blue Ganges river. The evening you can explore the holy town and Lakshman jhula and all by yourself at your will.

Day : 9 - Rafting at Shivpuri

On day 9 we shall head back up north for some 20 kms odd to reach the White water rafting capital of India, Shivpuri. At Shivpuri, you can enjoy the thrilling white water rafting in the rapids of a wild Ganga river. You shall be doing approximately 14 km stretch of rafting, which will leave you wanting for a lot more when you complete the stretch. After finishing the rafting we shall head back to your resort in Rishikesh where you can explore the town, the temple and the rituals by the Ganga in the evening, that makes the town famous for.

Day : 10 - And back to Delhi

On the 10th day we head back to Delhi. Its a long 5 hour drive from Rishikesh and we should reach Delhi by early afternoon.. On reaching Delhi we shall have a short tour of the Parliament and the central region and the India gate. Delhi being a vast city it is not possible to visit throughout in just an afternoon so we shall limit our sight seeing only to the central parts of New Delhi and proceed to check into your hotel.

Day : 11 - Last day in Delhi

The last day of the trip we can plan it according to your return flight timing. If time permits we can do more city sightseeing, especially around the new parts of the NCR, being the Glamorous Gurgaon region of the city. After that you can be dropped off to the airport to catch your flight back home.
